At the start of the Easter holidays (sorry I’m a little behind with posts) we had a family trip out to Lake District Wildlife Park. It’s a lovely wildlife park with friendly helpful staff who will happily answer questions and tell you about the animals they look after.
We have been quite a few times but I always enjoy going there.
When we went there was an extra element of fun there was an Easter letter hunt perfect for young children and adults! The word to find was Easter and the letters were hidden around the park next to enclosures with a letter stamp which you used to stamp the letter on the bit of paper we were given to take around.
Once completed and it did take the entire journey around the park you could claim your prize – I believe it was a bag of mini eggs (they had been eaten quickly by Monkey)!
As Boo is now 2 she wanted to walk around the park so for the majority of our trip we walked at toddler pace which was nice as we got to really look and take it all in.
Boo particularly liked the meerkats and giggled a lot at these. Monkey likes everything but particularly likes seeing monkeys which is why we chose to go there as this is what he had said he had wanted to go see if possible.
We’ll certainly be back at some point in the summer if not sooner, as we always have a lovely time there.
